Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to what families ask us most.
How much do lessons cost?
Fees depend on the subject, level and tutor. After your free consultation we’ll send a clear quote with no hidden charges, so you can decide with all the information.
Are your tutors DBS checked?
Yes. Every tutor holds an enhanced DBS certificate, has had their identity and qualifications verified, and completes safeguarding training before their first lesson.
What do we need for an online lesson?
A laptop, tablet or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone and stable internet connection. Our classroom runs in your web browser, so there is nothing to install.
What if we don’t get on with the tutor?
Just tell us. We’ll arrange a trial with a different tutor at no extra cost. The right personality match matters as much as subject knowledge.
How will I know how my child is doing?
Tutors send short session notes after each lesson, and we share a fuller written progress report every half term covering topics, confidence and next steps.
Do you teach students outside the UK?
Yes, as long as the student follows a UK curriculum and can attend at times that work for both sides. Tell us where you are and we’ll find suitable slots.
